The Relief Nursery provides child abuse and neglect prevention services to over 1,200 children and 900 families each year.
EARLY CHILDHOOD THERAPEUTIC CLASSROOMS
The Relief Nursery has eight classrooms for children ranging in age from six weeks to six years old.
The Relief Nursery maintains a high ratio of adults to children to help children reach individualized goals.
Parents attend evening parenting classes and drug and alcohol recovery support groups.
USDA APPROVED MEALS
Breakfast and lunch is served to all children attending classes. Dinner is served to parents and children during adult evening classes.

FAMILY CLOTHES CLOSET
The Relief Nursery maintains a free clothes closet for children and their families. Community donations are welcome and appreciated.
All Relief Nursery children participate in developmental screenings designed to reveal the need for specialized services to ensure appropriate and healthy development.
A Relief Nursery Child and Family Therapist provides one-on-one, interactive counseling with children and parents.
The Relief Nursery has two outdoor play areas for the children.
RESPITE CHILD CARE ROOM
The Relief Nursery provides respite child care for parents who need a break and child care during evening parent classes.
