The Relief Nursery is a private, non-profit child abuse and neglect prevention agency. Last year we provided free services to over 1,200 children and 969 families.

Families in our community are struggling as never before. During this economic recession, once stable families are now faced with unemployment, homelessness, and hunger. As a result, the Relief Nursery has a seen a dramatic and unprecedented increase in need for our services.
-In February 2009, there was a 48 percent increase in demand for Relief Nursery services compared to February 2008.
-From January through March 2009, the Relief Nursery served as many children as in all of 2008.
