The Auxiliary is a group of community members who create and organize various fund-raising events that benefit Relief Nursery programs. Members of the Auxiliary can be involved as much or as little as their time allows. Membership is $25 a year. Without the help of the Auxiliary, the families at the Relief Nursery would not receive the special attention they deserve for their commitment to better their lives and the lives of their children.

  Auxiliary Events

Pamper Me Day - This is a special event the Auxiliary puts together in the spring and fall for Relief Nursery parents. This evening is dedicated to giving parents a relaxing break from parenting with free childcare provided and an opportunity to be pampered. Parents are treated to a free hair cut and style from Reflections Salon, raffle prizes, goodie bags, and dinner.

Spring Luncheon - Every spring Auxiliary members and their guests meet to celebrate the achievements made throughout the past year and to announce the new president for the upcoming year.

Fall Luncheon - In the fall new board members are introduced and guests and members learn about the various volunteer opportunities at the Relief Nursery.

Thanksgiving Baskets - The Auxiliary makes beautiful baskets with items for a Thanksgiving dinner, including a turkey, for Relief Nursery Families.

Holiday Hearts - Every winter the Auxiliary creates hand-made heart ornaments for community Giving Trees. Each ornament represents a child's holiday gift wish. . Last year over 2.300 heart ornaments were created and all of the children's wishes were fulfilled by our generous and caring community.
